Jug of Babbling Truths
‘But they will never reveal the truth about the comings and goings of Chalk! And we have no spells to force them to tell us!’ insisted Vistis the Blue Mage.
Stork cocked an eyebrow and looked over at the illusionist.
‘Yet they do like drink, don’t they, those petty wizards?’ inquired the sorcerer.
Vistis nodded, his eyes narrowed behind his heavily lacquered mask as he tried to determine Stork’s plan.
The sorcerer reached into a cupboard and carefully retrieved a simple clay jug with a handle. Seemingly ancient painting decorated the jug, depicting people apparently in revelry or giving great speeches.
‘A drink from this and we will get all the information we need from those hedge-wizards!’ Stork proclaimed with a sneer.
Like many tricky magic items the Jug of Babbling Truths is not very obvious, it often appears as an ordinary clay jug with a handle. But the libations it pours have brought many a kingdom down…
Benefit: Anyone drinking from the Jug of Babbling Truths, and this wondrous container enchants any liquid poured into it, must make a save vs spell-like devices at -2 whenever trying to conceal particular information when asked. Failure to make the save reveals all. This effect lasts one hour from the first sip and may only be used on any subject once per day, but may be used on any number of subjects.
Usable by: Anyone.

Another interesting item. Again, every tax collector needs one of these, as do nobles!
Ha, no, not them!
Ha! in vino veritas–or maybe just in the wine jug.
Or maybe I shouldn’t have drank that whole bottle of wine at once…
