Dasorend the Bold raised the magical blade to strike the champion of the evil wizard Firasten, the champion swinging his shadowy mace with one hand and banging on the door to the wizard’s private lair with the other.
Suddenly the iron door opened a bit and the fell hero rushed in right before Dasorend could strike. Moments later a terrifying scream could be heard and then silence. A low chant began as Dasorend tried opening the stout portal to get at the vile magic-user.
With an ominous creaking the door opened and Dasorend stepped back, a wicked leering face peering from beyond the door. Before he could react a horrible winged thing lunged at Dasorend, toppling him over, attacking with a flurry of claws and fangs.
These ten winged horrors are often used as assassins and kidnappers, and sometimes as horrific shock troopers. These thin, muscular bipedal demons are extremely violent and ruthless and are very difficult to deal with. When summoning a Zaticav Demon it is important to note that this monster requires the sacrifice of a living intelligent human or demi-human, and that once this is done the demon can grant one Limited Wish or can be sent to slay one target. Just the rumor of one of these demons causes many a wizard and king to flee for their lives.
