Reversion of Athamos
Koram turned the corner of the stone block building and felt a gently tap on the shoulder as an arm momentarily protruded out of a window then quickly retracted. The fighter dropped his blade and suddenly began to look shaggy and disheveled. A beetling brow interrupted his profile and a wild look shone in his eyes.
“Are you ok?” Chalk asked as he slowed down to a halt.
Koram roared in fury and despair, not understanding his surroundings. With lightning speed he leaped at the wizard before the latter could react with a spell. Chalk chortled for help.
Thinking quickly, the priest of the Spider God began pulling spiders out of his sleeves. Choosing a light purple specimen, the cleric whispered something at the arachnid and threw it at the raging fighter. Deftly the strange spider caught onto the back of Koram’s jerkin and scuttled up to the collar. The small spider reared back and then lurched forward, sinking its fangs into the back of Koram’s neck. The primitive brute that was Koram staggered a few steps after releasing Chalk then the fighter’s eyes rolled up in his head and he dropped like a sack of potatoes with a stupid grin on his face.
