“Kill it! Kill it! Kill it!” Valance screamed.
Without pause Nysser and Koram set upon the strange creatures with their weapons while Chalk sent a wandering fireball at the odd flying thing. All of the adventurers cringed as they heard the grinding of monstrous teeth. A pseudopod struck Koram on the temple and he dropped his sword, but Nysser placed an arrow in the creature before it could advance upon its prey.
“Why did we wander into these ruins?” Chalk asked as the party vanquished the last of the alien beasts.
“The lost hoard of the Emerald Dragon,” replied Koram.
“Oh, yeah,” Chalk said with a grimace.

Unknown to most kind and gentle folk, the Cantankerous Porom is a odd creature that floats five to six feet off of the ground with four to six trailing pseudopods. Covered in an obnoxious ichor, these creatures seem to see their victims and attack without mercy or compassion, striking with two pseudopods and using the others to maintain their balance. Any victims of the Porom are slowly eaten. These strange creatures are immune to charm spells and any spell that affects the senses, but take double damage from flame and electrical attacks.
