“This way!” Chalk screamed. “We have to get to the door quickly!”
Koram stopped a moment and sighed.
“I know that! Do you think it is easy dragging a basilisk along and not looking into its eyes?” he snapped at the wizard while he wrestled the reptilian monster.
“Fine, you have a point,” conceded the sorcerer.
Valance appeared suddenly.
“A basilisk! Let me summon a few spiders!” the priest of the Spider God said enthusiastically.
“No!” Chalk and Koram shouted in unison.
Sticking Together (Arcane)
Range: 10′ per level of magic-user
Duration: One turn per level of wizard
When cast this spell causes the target who fails a save versus spells at -2 to stick to any creature that is capable of movement, and in return, the creature stuck also becomes sticky to others. This includes undead, constructs, slimes and jellies, elementals and monsters of all kinds. Any creature that fails the save is stuck until the end of the spell’s duration. All combat rolls are -2 due to the awkwardness of being stuck to another moving entity or construct and movement (if not coordinated) is one quarter what it should be if movement is possible at all. Any creature that dies while connected becomes dead weight as it was moving of its own accord when the spell began, although extra-planar creatures may leave back to their planes of origin (only), thus breaking the chain.
