The strange clicking sound had followed the adventurers for days. They were deep underground, in ares best left alone. Chalk was growing more and more nervous as he heard the nearly constant click, click, clicking.
“Keep your blade handy,” he whispered to Koram. “Whatever is following us is growing impatient.”
“How do you know that?” the fighter asked.
“I have noticed that the clicking is getting louder and more persistent,” replied the wizard.
“Oh, your imagi–” began Koram when a loud growl interrupted him.
A sinewy scarlet body slithered into the light of the torches. It’s eyes brightened as it saw the adventurers gathered.
“How delicious!” it said in a raspy voice as Chalk and Knat began casting spells.

Ages ago a great creature of the lower planes summoned a horde of red dragons to fight for it in the realms below. These dragons broke free of their summoner, but were lost out in the Eleven Hells. With time and magic these creatures learned to thrive and adapt to their new home. Wings and long legs disappeared to become dozens of small centipede-like claws that propel the sinewy crimson beasts along at a rapid pace. Instead of fire these creatures now breathe a paralyzing 20’x50’x40′ cloud that stops those within it dead in their tracks if they fail a save versus spells at -1. All Infernal Dragons know 5 1st level spells, 4 2nd level spells and 3 3rd level spells.
These dragons are incredible cunning and sinister and often devise elaborate traps for their prey.
