The adventurers scattered into the woods when they heard the thumping of large feet. From their various vantage points they all saw the same thing; a pair of brutish, muscle-bound bipedal behemoths thundering through the forest, each with a few goblins on its back. The feral eyes of the brutes staring hatefully from side to side. And then the creatures smelled the camp and the adventurers.
Koram crawled over to Chalk as quietly as he could.
“Should we take them down?” the fighter asked.
“I think you mean ‘Can we take them down?’” Chalk replied.
“There are only two of them!” snorted Koram.
“Well, and the goblin archers on their shoulders,” retorted the wizard.

Nearly nine feet tall, the groznak are magically altered orcs that have been turned into fearless juggernauts. Large tusks deliver a terrible bite and huge hands can deal a devastating punch. Groznak have thick plates of armor bolted to them and are sometimes ridden by 1d4 goblins, who are often firing bows or throwing spears. These beasts do not surrender or negotiate and only communicate with orcs and goblins, ignoring the pleas and words of all others. An orc army with a handful of groznak as shock troops can stand against many foes. These monsters live for battle and confrontation and do not back down from a fight.
