The troll guard roared and charged at the Scholar of Wexos and Koram as the two adventurers were caught off guard during their patrol. As Koram drew his sword the illusionist murmured a spell.
Without warning the horrid troll stumbled, tripping over something that the fighter couldn’t see and falling to the ground with a heavy thud. The fighter stood there, befuddled for a moment.
“Why not stab the thing while it is down?” the Scholar of Wexos suggested, a bit irritated.
Range: 30′ + 5′ per level of illusionist.
A simple illusionist spell, Trip causes a selected target within the range of the spell to suddenly stagger and trip over something that isn’t before them; a rock, a snake, a strange insect, etc. The victim of the spell receives a saving throw versus spells at -2, failing that drops the target to the ground and they are prone for 1d4-1 (minimum 1 round), which allows for one free attack.
