[New Spell] Pack Mentality

Pack Mentality

Chalk looked at the Scholar of Wexos with a raised eyebrow.

What?” the illusionist asked.

Why are you going to cast a spell on Stork to make him work better with others?” the wizard inquired.

Because if we kill enough of those around him he will suffer for a week!” replied the illusionist.

Chalk grinned evilly.

Now that is not a bad idea at all!” he exclaimed.

Pack Mentality (Illusionist)

Level 3

Range: Touch

Duration: Permanent until the pack is reduced beyond its minimal number.

This tricky illusionist spell always begins with one target. This subject must make a saving throw versus spells at -1 or become unable to concentrate or work on anything until they convince another to help. The more individuals that become involved, the easier the task becomes (grant bonuses up to +3 where reasonable). The group must maintain a number equal to the level of the caster to continue working together as now they are convinced that a group or pack works better together and that a drop below this minimal number could compromise their plans. This group will be convinced, via the bonuses, that working together is key to being successful and if their numbers do drop below their minimal number each individual will become despondent and be -2 on all rolls for one week until the effect of the spell wears off.
