“A wooden chest, lying in the center of this dungeon room, it looks too…” Koram was cut off by something heavy dropping on him like a sack of sand, dropping the fighter to the floor. A sinister cackling and hissing was heard in the shadows. Something on Koram writhed like an oversized maggot or caterpillar.
Nudge the dwarf thief ran forward, sword and dagger drawn.
“Back to the netherworld with you!” the gnome shouted as if facing a primordial and eternal enemy.
Valance sent a prayer to the Spider God while Chalk threw a spell into the room that caused an amazing flash to momentarily light up the room.
“What in the Eleven Hells!” exclaimed Valance as the part caterpillar part dwarf things were suddenly visible.
“Don’t ask, just kill them!” Nudge advised as the dwarf began swinging.

Sinister creatures rumored to have crawled up from the Mythic Underworld, the inmovi look like a hideous cross between a dwarf and a caterpillar, most often as an almost ‘centauroid’ amalgamation. Employed as shock troops by evil wizards and foul creatures of the deep places the inmovi are fierce fighters and ruthless bandits. For every five of these creatures encountered there will be either a leader with 5+4 HD and a +1 weapon or a 4HD shaman or priest that can cast spells as a 5th level cleric. The caterpillar-like bodies of the inmovi allow these monsters to climb sheer surfaces and cling to ceilings, surprising adventurers on a 4-6 on a 1d6. Nets are often employed by these creatures to subdue their victims.
