Koram and Nudge scrambled to assemble the wreckage of the massive ship.
“Is this enough?” Koram asked Chalk.
The wizard eyed the scroll one more time.
“Yeah, I think so.”
The scrolled was read and magic cast. The flotsam and jetsam of the ruined ship formed a rather large raft that was easily moored on the beach.
Valance wandered back from his foraging for food.
“What is that?”
“Our way out of here and back to the mainland, this dreadful island is too small and dreary,” answered Chalk.
Valance smirked dubiously at the collection of wood, rope and canvas.
Ephemeral Conveyance (Arcane)
Range: 30′ radius
Duration: One hour per level of caster.
With this spell a wizard may cause a bunch of material (which must be present, this spell cannot create anything without some raw materials on hand) to form into some means of transportation such as a cart, a raft, a chariot, etc. This way of travel moves at three quarters of normal speed (rounded up) but is better than nothing and can create a reasonable boat out of wreckage, for example, that can make all the difference in the world. At the end of the spell all of the components of the conveyance separate as they were before the spell was cast.
