[New Monster] Vaxol (Frog daemon)

Vaxol (Frog daemon)

‘Very handy to have around in a pinch, but all of the ribbiting and croaking when they are gathered in small groups really is annoying sometimes,’ Archmage Foslin on the vaxol.

Short, slumped and slippery, the vaxol are wretched humanoid frogs of daemonic origin, trapped on the material plane, these monsters lurk in lakes, ponds and bogs primarily (above and below ground), lying in wait for prey (these creatures find humans and humanoids delicious) or for a powerful wizard to offer their services to. Due to their blotchy skin these creatures blend into their surroundings very well, surprising on a 4-6 on 1d6. These amphibious monsters can stay underwater indefinitely and have the following spell-like abilities:
Thrice per day: Entangle, Locate Creature, Detect Snares & Pits

Two times per day: Barkskin, Obscuring Mist

Once per day: Neutralize Poison, Protection from Fire

One time per day may attempt to summon 1d4 vaxol (35% chance of success).
