[New Monster] Marsnuh

Navnen slashed at the flying centipedes furiously.

‘Why are we doing this?’ he asked.

Chalk tossed a spell that zinged passed the thief. Nearly two dozen of the creatures stopped in midair, spinning, stunned.

Koram rushed by with a big sack followed by Valance.

‘The treasure, of course!’ the fighter replied.

‘Let’s hurry, boys, that spell won’t last forever,’ Chalk urged.

The marsnuh is a foot and a half long centipede with dragonfly-like wings that allow it to fly. These creatures are a menace as they possess a poisonous bite that cause anyone bitten who fails a save versus poison to feel dizzy and confused, translating to being -2 to hit and damage for 1d4 rounds. Few seek these creatures out, but those that do know that the lair of these creatures often contains a bounty of treasure. Marsnuh typically live deep in dungeons or in swampy or marshy areas.

Flying is definitely a way to make already bad centipedes worse!

I had not heard of them in gaming before and was just talking to an Australian friend about how everything there is deadly, even the flying centipedes, so it became a post.
