The wounded hulking creature staggered after the assault by the bandits, bleeding profusely. The trio of adventurers found the creature at death’s door.
‘Finish me if you will, I have no fight left,’ the creature groaned in pain.
The lovely elven priestess strolled up to the creature.
‘Quite the opposite. Our fighter fell in battle with lizardmen two days ago, feel like taking his place?’ she asked.
The ogre looked puzzled.
‘You don’t have a lot of time to decide,’ quipped the halfling thief. ‘I’d decide soon if I were you.’
‘Yes, yes!’ begged the bleeding ogre.
And the adventurers were a quartet again, with a bit more muscle this time.
Sanguinary Transfer (Cleric)
A very popular spell on the battlefield or deep in the dungeon, this spell magically transfers blood from one subject to another to help keep the latter alive. The donor will never lose too much blood and the blood will magically transform to be accepted by the recipient. Up to three donors per casting are possible, which should be enough to keep even an ogre sized being alive as long as the flow of blood has been stopped. This spell will satiate undead such as ghouls and vampires and keep them from harming the caster and his or her companions.
