Stork cast a spell and point at a nearby footstool. The arrows of the city guard, while aimed at him, twisted in the air and struck the footstool instead.
The goblin guide cackled.
‘If I didn’t need you, those arrows would have found you instead,’ snarled the sorcerer.
The goblin was quiet for the rest of the day unless asked for something.
Range Magnet (Arcane)
Duration: Two rounds/level
This spell attempts to divert ranged weapons (darts, arrows, thrown knives, etc) to a specific non-living target within range. There must be a solid object to take the hits. This spell only encourages objects to hit the alternative target, in which there is a 65% chance (+3%/level) chance of the ranged weapon to be diverted.
Option: After 6th level living targets may also be chosen.
