Banished from the Kingdom
The group of adventurers approached the city of Klossen.
Valance suddenly lagged, staring ahead with a puzzled look on his face.
‘Where is Klossen? I just see fog,’ he said.
The others stared at him blankly then Chalk smirked.
‘Remember? Gambling debt, the baron?’
‘Oh yeah, I’d better sit this one out, guys,’ the priest of the Spider God said.
‘Or just pay off your debt,’ Koram suggested. ‘Wasn’t it just fifty silver pieces?’
‘It’s the principle,’ replied Valance.
Banished from the Kingdom (Cleric)
Duration: Until dispelled or requirements met.
This divine spell allows the cleric or priest to banish an individual from an area with boundaries where there are homes (village, hamlet, town, city, etc). Usually cast because of some transgression, the individual affected by this spell cannot re-enter the area until they have met some criteria (made up for a crime, repaid a debt, etc), the boundaries of the location appearing as if in a thick fog, obscuring all vision. This spell is usually not cast lightly and is often reserved for outstanding criminals or lawbreakers who need to make something right.
