As the adventurers fell the wizard began to mumble.
‘We’ve no time for prayers!’ shouted the fighter as he flailed.
Seconds later the party landed at the bottom of the pit with bone jarring force onto a soft substance that rippled violently.
The wizard scowled at the fighter.
‘Okay, now we are alive and just need to figure a way out,’ the fighter said.
‘I’ll leave that up to you, since I got us this far,’ replied the sorcerer.
Duration: One hour/level or until dispelled.
This multi-use spell allows the caster to turn an area up to 10’x10’x10′ into a soft, gelatinous substance. This can be used to make a wall easier to get through, make a floor softer to land on or to make weapons and armor soft and pliable. This spell does not affect empty space, the living or undead, but may alter constructs (and reduce their attacks tremendously, a gelatinous strike deals 1d4 points of damage).
