Ring of Elements
Fellhorn had cast the spell before the wizard could react, leaving the other spellcaster standing in a ring of swirling flames way over his head.
‘My bugbear bodyguards will mangle you,’ the wizard said.
‘Maybe, maybe not. Either way, we have your scrolls today,’ the druid said with a smile as he and his companions quickly looted the wizard’s tower.
A bell clanged in the room, rung from below presumably. The gnome illusionist rushed to the window and looked down.
‘Have you got another one of those fire spells handy?’ the gnome asked.
‘Why? What do you see?’ Fellhorn inquired back.
‘About a dozen heavily armed bugbears,’ replied the gnome.
The elf ranger dropped a handy of magical items.
‘I knew this was a bad idea!’ he shouted.
