[New Spell] Stone Stash

Stone Stash

‘Now where did I leave that backpack of your?’ Knat asked aloud. ‘All of these boulders look the same.’

Navnen glared over at Valance who shrugged and made a calming motion with his hands behind the back of the druidess.

Eventually Knat found the hard to see rune in a jumble of boulders that corresponded with the note in her hand.

Hiding her motions from the thief and priest she created a small opening in a huge boulder and retrieved a backpack.

‘Here you go, boys, safe and sound,’ she said as she handed Navnen the backpack. He feigned a gracious smile and nodded thankfully as Valance handed her a small spider shaped amulet. The druidess smiled happily.

‘Anytime, boys! I must dash for now,’ Knat said cheerfuly and headed off into the woods.

‘You trusted her with our contraband?’ Navnen asked with a bit of exasperation in his voice.

‘Hey, if she can’t find it then the authorities surely couldn’t,’ Valance said with his usual twisted logic.

Navnen shrugged and followed the priest, it was hard to argue with that.

Stone Stash (Druid)

Level 4

Range: Touch.

Duration: One week per level of caster.

With the help of a druidic rune the caster can create a roughly 1’x1’x1′ cubed space inside a boulder or slab of rock that the druid can access at any time. This storage space is dry and airtight and will not allow a living creature to breathe, yet will keep other items safe and secret. The rune will lock the stone and when properly invoked will open it. If the spell lapses the rock or stone will open on its own and disgorge any items on the ground and become solid again.
