Curse: No Weapons for You!
Koram punched the startled bugbear in the face. The burly giant goblinoid stumbled back a couple of steps and fell to the dungeon floor like a sack of potatoes.
‘Good punch!’ Chalk shouted across the room as a handful of goblins scattered after seeing their leader fall.
‘I’m still going to get even with that weird cleric we met in Dej-Lug,’ snarled the fighter.
‘That is odd, I would have thought he would have meant that curse for me,’ pondered Valance as he released a group of large spiders to chase after the fleeing goblins.
‘Funny, that,’ Koram said sarcastically.
Curse: No Weapons for You! (Cleric/Magic-User)
Duration: One day per level of caster.
This simple curse causes all intelligent creatures to be unable to use either made or improvised weapons, only hands, head and feet may be used. Natural weapons such as horns, claws and hooves among others, may be used, but a rock will not hit a target if picked up and thrown, even on a roll of 20 to hit . All damage, however, adds a +1 and double damage +2 is dealt on a natural roll of 19-20 to hit on 1d20, with a 45% chance to knock out the opponent for 1d4 rounds. Once the curse lapses or is removed weapons may be used again as before the individual was cursed.
