The elf ranger snickered as he watched the gnome illusionist squirm before the locals from one of the nearby rooftops.
‘I am not a lycanthrope!’ the gnome squeaked.
‘That silver dagger sure caused you pain,’ one of the yokels countered.
‘Most would, regardless of what they are made of,’ retorted the small illusionist.
One of the villagers touched a silver coin to the gnome’s forehead, the gnome fought and snarled, growling in pain.
‘That settles it,’ another villager said grimly.
‘You know we have to save him,’ Fellhorn the druid whispered to the elf ranger.
‘I know, I know, just having some fun watching,’ the elf replied as he nocked a rather grisly looking arrow to his bow.
